The Wonder Forest Blog is Changing…

The Wonder Forest blog began in 2011 as a place to share my own creative projects, tips, and favourite things. It later grew into a collaborative space where many different topics have been covered — including travel, business, lifestyle — and a ton of other writers contributed their perspectives in the form of guest posts.

While this allowed me to focus the majority of my time on other projects with a lot of help from my assistant editor, Breanne, I started to feel like this blog had become a content pumping machine with no real direction. The posts we would receive from guest authors started to feel spammy and not in line with what the original purpose of this space was.

So after some discussions, we decided to strip back to basics and start focusing on the type of posts that this brand started with.

Wonder Forest is a creative brand and always has been. I develop artwork for products, publish watercolour books, make art videos, create handmade goods, and I want to make sure that the blog (an extension of the overall brand) represents those things. A colourful place full of imagination, artistry, and personal stories!

That said, we will begin diving back into our roots on this site. Think: DIYs, beautiful spaces, handmade projects, creative business posts, and a more focused type of content all around (and MUCH less guest posting!).

I am feeling renewed and excited about making these changes as so much has happened in the past couple of years that I haven’t shared here. From a marriage to a new pregnancy (yep, I’m about to become a mom-preneur!) and everything in between.

I hope you’ll stick with me while Breanne and I get things back into action and revive the old Wonder Forest.
