Cozy neutrals and hot chocolate are in the air, so why not get your fingertips in the Autumn mood with this simple sweater inspired nail tutorial! You only need two polishes, a thin striper brush, and some top coats. Here’s how it’s done:
Step 1: Apply basecoat of your choice
Step 2: Apply two coats of your base color (I used Essie: Sand Tropez)
Step 3: Once your base color dries, use a thin striping brush to draw two horizontal lines across your nail with a darker color. (I used Essie: Don’t Sweater It)
Step 4: Using the thin striper brush, draw small diagonal lines between the two horizontal lines going in the same direction.
Step 5: Using the thin striper brush, draw small diagonal lines between the two horizontal lines going in the opposite direction.
Step 6: Apply a quick drying top coat once they’ve dried.
Step 7: Apply a matte top coat
